We don’t want Start to feel like that. We want to see the drawing you spent five minutes on, the song you’re learning, or the photo you went outside to take.

If AI made the image, video, music, or writing, don’t post it on Start. The work you share should be something you created yourself.
You don’t have to be an expert. Honestly, we’d rather see something you made that’s a little rough than something a computer made perfectly.

Why do I create before seeing the feed?
It’s easy to open an app and spend an hour scrolling. Start asks you to spend a little time on your own creativity first. Once you’ve created and posted, the feed opens.
What can I create?
Painting, photography, music, writing, drawing, and plenty more. Pick something you enjoy or have always wanted to try.
What if it’s unfinished or not very good?
Post it anyway. You don’t need to be good at something to enjoy doing it. Beginners and unfinished work are welcome here.
Is Start free?
Yes. Start is free to download on the iPhone App Store. Look for Start. by StartCreating LLC.
Can I post work made with AI?
No. The work you post should be something you created yourself. Start is about spending time on your own creativity.

How does Start Work?
Each day, you start a 15-minute timer. During that time, put your phone down and create something physical. When you’re done, you upload a live picture to access your feed.
Why do I have to create before seeing the feed?
Start is designed to reduce mindless scrolling and encourage real creativity. By creating first, you’re more intentional about how you spend your time.
Can I leave the app during the timer?
The timer pauses if you leave the app to keep the experience intentional.
What can I post?
Anything you create. Drawings, poems, music, paintings, or small everyday projects.
Start is built for real, human creativity. AI-generated content, nudity, and offensive or harmful content aren’t allowed.
How do you handle inappropriate content?
We use a combination of automated tools and human review to keep the community safe. Users can also report content directly in the app.
